T- Thoughts
  1. “What problem do you have at this moment.” - Eckhart Tolle, The Power of now.
If you’ve been an avid listener of the Art Of Passive Income podcast you know I talk about my meditation practice and just my general work on being more "mindful” more “awake” more “present”.
The idea of outer riches and inner poverty is not one I relish. I know a lot of people that are some of the luckiest people on the planet. They have wealth, they have good health, they live lives that literally would be heaven for billions of people yet happiness eludes them.
I think if I can work on my “happiness” or train my mind like I train my body with exercise that over time I will avoid a similar fate.
So often, I’ll be sleepwalking through my day, lost in thought until I realize that I just lost the present moment which is of course the only thing that’s actually real, and go back to my real life.
I used to find it a struggle and would judge myself for my lack of “presence”. Now, I just smile and am so grateful that I can even recognize I was lost in thought and get back to the moment.
In so doing, it makes me a better podcast host, land investor, parent, friend, and overall person.
Take some time today, and see if you can recognize when you are lost in thought and just smile at your mind like you would a mischievous two-year-old reaching for a cookie jar… Then, go back to the present and see if it make a difference in your life.

TIP OF THE WEEK
Teria: My tip of the week is actually a tip that I gave during Bootcamp. But a couple of my coaching students just over the last two weeks had been asking me about “are these Facebook pictures?”, so you’re marketing your properties on Facebook, and Facebook is a free platform, a great place to market and there are some new ones there. But how many pictures do I need to post, what if I ran out of pictures, how do I navigate the pictures? Two tips: one is to go out to google and maybe google your county, and find pictures of the area. When you’re posting on Facebook you don’t necessarily have to have pictures of the actual property. I mean, that works but you can also post pictures of that area as long as you are clear in the body of your ad. So go out, be creative, find pictures of the area, and post. Just be honest from where you get the pictures from.
